Ringo is left-handed, although he's always played a right-handed setup.

Well, I play on a right handed kit, but I am a lefty. It's a little awkward to play 16th notes on the hi-hats, because I want to lead with my left, meaning my left hand has to tuck under my right to hit the snare on 2 and 4. I've been trying to force myself to lead with my right to make it easier. I lead all my fills with my left as well. Kind of weird.

Add in:

Played left handed set ups:

The late Ian Wallace

The guy in Muse.

Left handed on a regular kit:

Rayford Griffen

Chuck Morris (of the Arsenio Hall show fame).

i'm not sure how famous he is to people on this forum, but pat petrillo is.

He's plenty famous enough for at least one of us on this forum. Never knew he was a lefty though (or a Molly Dooka as they're affectionately known here in Oz.....don't ask.....I have no idea, we're a weird bunch downunder!!). Interesting!.

yeah, well he was at a clinic in the UK today and he said he was a lefty, he might have just been lying though to get the little kids to focus more on their weak hand aha. nah. :)
i have 3 hours of lessons with him in roughly 6 hours.. good times.

You mean besides me?.......
lot of lefties that play righty kits. Ian Paice, Will Kennedy, Paco Sery, Billy Cobham.. rod morgenstien,
