99 problems, but a Luddie ain't one.

Those look real nice. I'd love to play them.

I got a near mint 2009 26/14/16/18 with a 402, for $1200 on Craigslist.

WITHOUT EVEN HAGGLING.

offer them $800. :)

WOW, those look great! I love the sizes too! Why can't I walk into a music store and see stuff like this?

Picked them up today! I'm very excited. Can't wait to rip into a 26 kick drum! Going to play them tomorrow night. He's also building me a 20 inch floor tom in the same build out. I can't wait!

SWEET! Glad you got what you wanted. They look great and I imagine they will sound awesome. Love it. 20" floor tom is full Gonzo too! Like the saying goes, anything worth doing is worth OVER doing.

I had my eye on these since they were bare shells on his shelf. The shells are in perfect condition. Once he finished them I went down, took a look and got them. Think I'm going to have him put some B/O badges on them in lieu of the original Monroe keystone that's on them now. I know it isn't "correct" but I don't care. They are already Rewrapped anyhow. They really do look like they are brand new.

Sweet! These look great - just like my 60's kit, but more shiny :p

I'll buy the badges from you, if you don't want them - my set needs some and I don't want to misrepresent them as being original, so these should be blatantly obvious :p

Got her all dialed in today. Coated emperors over coated ambassadors for the toms. Got rid of the superkick and put a clear ps3 on it. Holy lord! The boom is definitely in the room.

A bit of an update. I had my guy build out a 16x16 floor tom. It's a 6 ply from the 70's and it blends perfectly. You can see the blue and olive badge. Now I'm waiting on the rest of the badges to complete the look.

Hell yes! Great looking kit man.

Question. Do you ever play out with this kit? If so, what do you put the bass drum in with that Atlas Arch? Do you have to go all the way up to a 28" bass drum?

I am slowly piecing together my house kit. I am working on getting the hardware to get something up and running. I have plenty of drums, but I like seeing someone with a plan, get what they want, even if it takes a while. That 16x16" floor gives that kit a solid rock and roll look. Just go full Bonzo triplets all night long.

Thanks bull! I am not playing out very much at the moment but I have been pondering the case thing. On my last kick drum which was a 24 x18, I had 4 Atlas mounts and it fit in a 24 x18 protection racket case. It was tight but it fit.

I'm jealous! So beautiful! Congrats!
