Haven't even tuned or set up cymbals yet. Too excited to take pics

Still planning on making a 16" floor tom for it as well.

Beautiful. When you say "faux birch veneer", is it just laminate like bumwraps makes, or is it something else?

Believe it or not... contact paper.. The marketing dept. (My wife) has instructed me to call it "faux veneer"
