Sweet kit! I want some Luddys of my own.

The very same kit.
There's a guy who wants to trade me this vintage Ludwig wmp, 13,16.20, a 1995 Ludwig cob supraphonic and $200 for mine. The only problem is the three drums are a different shade of wmp, the 16 is from 1959, the 13 and 20 are from the early sixties, here's a photo. Any opinions on this potential trade are welcome.

I think your champagne kit is alot nicer. What sizes do you normally use? I took a look at one of your youtube videos you posted on another forum (Zeppelin- Misty Mt Hop), You're a solid player. Is this your normal gig? I would think you would want to stay with bigger sizes.

Thanks. on that video I was using a vintage Rogers black diamond pearl kit with a 9x13,14x14,14x20, so I can get a big sound from smaller drums. I've been looking for a wmp kit for a long time, it's my favorite finish, plus the fact that he's throwing in a supraphonic and $200 makes it very tempting.

Honestly, if I were you, I wouldn't trade. Your kit looks just amazing and I bet it souds so, too. Great set.

The deal for the wmp kit fell through, I probably wasn't going to do it anyway.

Nice WMP bthw, your downbeat champagn sparkle is awesome, i have one and would never part with it, mine is 67, i could have a WMP in a WFL kit, 24x14 kick, its a nice kit but as i'm in a sixties group playing the british invasion scene here in the uk it wouldnt look right.

Mine is not a downbeat, that would be a 12,14,20, mine is a 13,16,22, more like what Joe Morello used.
