What is your cymbal Setup?

18" crash/ride factory cymbal (piece of junk)
14" pair random sheet metal hi-hats (ash trays)
20" Zildjian A Ride cymbal (amazingness)

Pathetic, I know, but the budget of a 14-year old is pretty limited. :)

Ha ha - that hi hat actually says ' Sweet Hat ' on it. I didn't know those were really made.

But it also says ' Bottom ' on the hat you're using as the top. Do you play them that way?
 
Here are my babies.......I miss them every time I go to bed. Actually that's not true-the little guys are tucked right beside me for their special little pillow my Mommy made for them.....

I know I already made a post to this thread, but I have made a big change in my cymbal setup since I first posted. I bought a 20" Zildjian K Ride a few months ago, and I use it as my main ride. I moved the china into the spot occupied by the A Custom Projection Ride, and I moved my Sweet Ride into the spot where the china used to be, on the far right of my set. I put my China Splash back into commission, and it's on a clip above my hi-hats and snare. My cowbell, which I bought right before my K Ride, is on the right under my Sweet Ride. I also replaced my disused timbale made from my original Tama snare with my old Pearl steel snare. Otherwise, no setup changes.

Yes, they made the 15" Sweet Hats for only a few years in the early 2000's. I like to play mine with the bottom on top and the top on bottom. I feel like I get a bit more definition playing them this way. But I'm also a big weirdo, so I dunno.

Nice - maybe they'll bring them back someday. I'd like to give them a try, but have never seen any around here.
 
Getting better everytime I go to the music store! Love the stagg china and crash, ride isn't too shabby for the price either. Favourite cymbal has to be the A-Custom though, cuts through everything. Bought it half price last weekend. Looking to maybe get some 2002s hats to replace the god-awful things I have now.

My cymbal set up from left to right is a Paiste 2002 16 in. crash with a 6 in. accent, 10 in Stagg SH splash, 10 in. Stagg SH china, 8 in. Zildjian splash, Paiste 14 in 2002 soundedge hi-hats, Paiste 17 in. Alpha rock crash, 18 in. Alpha rock crash, 2002 22 in. ride, 18 in. 2002 china, 17 in. 2002 crash with an 8 in. accent, and a Stagg 8 in. SH splash. I have also added a 14 in Stagg SH China to the left since this pic was taken.
 
This has been my go-to setup for a little while now. Loving it way too much. Nice and dark, but not overly trashy so they have a wide variety of uses.

14" Meinl Byzance Extra Dry Hats
18" Paiste 602 Thin Crash
20" Meinl Byzance Sand Ride
18" Meinl Byzance Medium-Thin Jazz Crash

I do switch out the Paiste for an 18" Istanbul Agop Signature Crash occasionally, if I need the trash in the setup (my Agop Sig. is a lot trashier than most others I've heard).

Also occasionally swap out my Sand Ride for a 20" Meinl Extra Dry, or a 24" Paiste Giant Beat if I want to get loud..!
