This is a setup I tried out on a whim a few weeks ago, and have been warming up to it ever since. It makes me play way differently.

Gretsch Catalina Maple

Left tom: 16"x16"
Right tom: 14"x14"
Tama Artwood snare: 5.5" x 14"
Kick: 22" x 18"

Cymbals

14" Paiste Twenty hats
19" Zildjian Z Custom medium crash
20" Paiste Twenty ride
20" Paiste Signature (Dark Energy) china

Silverfox JR drumsticks.

Hanes cotton socks.

What do you guys think????

Best socks on the forum.

But seriously cool kit, I can't imagine not having a rack tom in front of me though. You are a brave man.

Those sizes look a little off, but I'm sure it's just the camera angle, do you have any other pics you could share with us?

The socks cost me serious cash moneys.

Thanks man, I'm glad you like the setup, and it is the camera angle that makes the sizes look off, but I assure you they're correct. I'll try to get more photos up soon.

I swear I made a thread on this a while ago.

Nice set-up, man. I've always wanted to experiment with a floor tom on my left.

I used a floor tom on my left for the band I was in last summer and I really liked it. It really allowed me to change up my sound and experiment with different fills and utilizing the floor tom in some grooves. It actually worked out great and I was able to pull off a lot of things I wouldnt have been able to do with a "normal" setup. I think I'll go back to it once I get more space for my drums.

Bram, that setup is awesome! Keep on experimenting.
