Bass Drum Pedal in Slow Motion

Hi Folks,

I believe my bass drum pedal technique is classified as the slide technique. I discovered this technique for myself trying to sound like John Bonham. It just came naturally. This video shows my technique in slow motion. I'm looking for advice and observations. How can I make it faster or more uniform? Do you use a similar technique? Thoughts?

That's the slide technique I use.

its called "SLIDE" but your doing it correct.. your foot doesn't slide all that much

for more speed tighter springs, and a slighly tighter batter head make a world of difference.

other than that its good ol practice, repetition, and using a metronome to learn how to get it faster .
