Waiting for new Star Wars movies

Well, only about a year to go

Star Wars will be back on our big screens

Let's hope its better than I, II and III

Well, I guess they weren't all that bad, but in comparison to the original trilogy, no comparison.

Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait

Always have been and always will be a HUGE fan of the 'Wars

Kit Fisto is the coolest....but he died a lame death in III

Beaten by an old arrogant cronie

The Clone Wars animated series was awesome too, got the lot on DVD

Will just have to hope Disney can do the franchise justice (I for one believe they will- surely couldn't be as bad as Episode I??)
 
I was told the other day that these new stories will be taking place some 30 years after the Return of the Jedi, so you will see some beloved characters who are actually going to be some 30 years older, so it makes sense. And of course, they'll be introducing new ones.

Right now we're busy with Thor and Captain America areas. But I'm sure when the time comes, we'll be working on Star Wars areas. It'll be awesome.

Could not agree more. Disney have sunk enough capital into this venture not to screw around with it too much so I think it will be "business as usual" as far as movie traditions go.

Totally agree with you for Epsiode I, not so much for II and completely disagree for III.
IMO at least Lucas ended on a high note with Epsiode III. So many iconic moments, packed to the gills with action, no pi$$ing about with stupid slapstick characters and dark as hell- loved it!!

Wrong. Those films are a stain on the history of cinema! Anyone who's not seen the Red Letter Media reviews of Episodes I-III should have a look...where once I just had a sad feeling and a deep sense that something was wrong, I now experience only rage. And that stuff leads to the dark side as we know. Shame on you Lucas!

As for Leia - I suggest to experiment with Leia's outfit from "Return of the Jedi" while she was Jabba's slave... eye candy!

(Watching the Red Letter Media reviews that Ben mentioned... actually they really cast a bad shadow on the movies, and I have to agree with most of it.)

Agreed. Episodes I, II, and III were not that great and introduced Jar Jar Binks. But as we say in our recent hit that has grossed over a billion dollars, Let It Go...... ;)

You'd think if the movie made that much money I'd get a raise!
