Tama Superstar. Should I or shouldn't I?

Hi,
I'm looking at buying a new kit with bigger sized drums In a few weeks but are on quite a tight budget. I already own a new snare, and are looking for a kick and two toms.
Looking around I found someone offering a Tama Superstar kit (2010) in Nickel Sparkle (12x9, 18x16, 24x18) for £399.
I play in a Metal band, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwyEJZswPyk , and most of the time only play a three piece kit.
Would this kit suit what I already play?
I will be testing it in the shop. It's just a Long way from my house to try it if there is no way it will even suit my style of playing.

check the pictures and see what you think.

Any feedback will help. Thanks.

For metal, I think that'd be perfect, unless you play more progressive or tighter stuff. In those cases you might need to tune the bass up a bit to "tame the beast" since that puppy's 18" deep. Other than that though it'll sound great tuned correctly.

Yes to Tama Superstar (a metal classic), no to the sparkle (nothing's more un-metal than a sparkle kit). : )

Thanks for the replies. I think I am going to go for it.
The reason i like this colour though is because it goes with just about anything and i need that with my snare:
