What's On Your Shopping List?

Dang Ollie, you're going to start a new Bronze Age.

STXBob: Zildjian New Beats are IMO, the first to check out for versatility.

Dream Cymbals has some very well-respected products. If I had to buy brand new cymbals, it would be a set of Dream Contacts. But they might be kind of thin for Tool.

Me, I'm buying a couple of yards of pistachio sparkle vinyl to wrap the cheapo 20" bass drum I just rebuilt for my gig kit.

Thanks for the tip! :-D I'll have a look at Dream.

I <3 the idea of pistachio sparkle.

I am happy with my drums and cymbals, and I have the next set of heads waiting for my toms and snare. I will need sticks pretty soon. I like the new Pro Mark .580 Select Balance sticks. Peace and goodwill.

A set of Zildjian A cymbals (older 60s or 70s vintage preferred).

A good soft case for my Ludwig Supraphonic Snare.

I need to buy a real X-hat. The one I've been using for about 10yr. is one that I made myself. I 'm thinking about getting a a 70's top new beat. I've got two vintage bottoms. The top that I use is a late 90's or newer ,15 new beat that's been cut down to 14 because it cracked.

Two sets of cases, maybe one soft drumseeker type and the other the Enduro Pro cases.
I'd like to check out the Protection Racket AAA semi-rigid cases before I buy anything.

Oh and small recorder like the Zoom H4n or similar.

A. Diamond earrings for my wife
B. dw collectors series cherry kick, rack, floor
C. dw np clockwork Angels snare

There is a process here of course...B and C are much easier to achieve once A is completed. So, I get A done for this Christmas and bada bing new kit should arrive several month after that.

Happy Wife, happy drum collecting

I, unfortunately, need a new main crash voice....I'm thinking about a partially unfinished type...but I am severely restricted in my local stock and I wont buy cymbals over the internet...I wanna hear it...

Dude must have a big paper route...

I can't think of much.

- Heads for practice set

Does anyone else rotate? New heads for performance set, old heads go to practice kit?

I'm looking for a DW 5000 double, a 60's era ludwig brass cowbell, a nice hi-hat tabourine, an A Custom China, and a 14" transparent Ebony Gretsch floor tom.
