Hello all,
I have a project with a percussionist and i'm having my thesis about that project.
For that i'm checking out some drums&percussion duets/projects/..

Do you guys know some cool stuff? i can find only some youtube videos (also nice!!) but not really projects.

Duos in the context of a larger ensemble of instrumental musicians, or just two percussionists producing rhythmic music only?

Most percussion-only ensembles I can think of are larger than a duo. M'Boom, for example:

Just 2 musicians (drummer + percussionists (conga player/..))
Maybe with guestmusicians (like a duo + piano player or sth).

I'm more looking for bands/projects with a drummer and percussionist (like steve gadd w giovanni hidalgo on the MDF 1997)

Probably your best bet is to research individual percussionists and find out what projects they've done.

For example, Ray Cooper is the big UK rock percussionist. Nana Vasconcelos is more jazz/world music. I think he did something with a load of other drummers (one being Paul Motian?) on ECM label.
