Need all you drummers advice!

So I am a pretty experienced drummer, I'm not the greatest ever but I can definitely play. I am very into metal and I spend alot of my time covering metal songs if im not jamming with other musicians.

So, my question to all you metal heads out there, is what songs would you recommend I try to play?

death is a great band with atleast two great drummers under it's belt - Gene Hoglan and Richard Christi.

ry dark tranquillity. they have a great drummer.
and try slipknot. i don't like Joey's feel, but he has exelent tequnic.

He's a beast, definetly an underrated talent. They put on a great live show, also.

I can't really give you specific song names so I'll just give you more bands.

Warbringer (not brutal death/extreme metal, its more thrash but their new stuff has great drumming)

Haha the two bands you told me to def check out are bands that I listen to daily and drum to daily =]

Please, NO slayer. Never listened to there albums, saw them live and wanted to kms. No respect whatsoever for any of them.

I like a couple of those bands, I think I decided today to go back to my old ways of jazz, went to a jazz club and it reminded me of how great jazz was/still is.

Don't stop mentioning metal bands though, I have all day to drum =]
