hey everyone, sorry in advanced if this is posted in the wrong area.

i live in dallas texas and im looking for a company to help me re-finish my drum set, there is currently a wrap on the shells but i would like a natural wood finish with a really high gloss clear coat on the top. i would prefer a well known company not some guy in his garage painting drums lol no offense it's just i dont want to take any chances any help would be much appriciated.

The first two questions would be, what kind of drums, and how many do you have. Your project could well cost more than your drums are worth. You might be better off selling your kit, unmodified ...... as it came from the factory ........ and then buying a kit with the finish you desire.

Rewrapping is the least expensive option. Unless you do the refinishing yourself, It could cost a lot more than the worth of the drums, like harryconway said.

I would just do it myself I'm refinishing a snare drum so far I hadn't screwed up I'm about to laquer the crap out of it, get it nice and shiny.
