Hi all together,

i have question and i need some experts in music in general but especially in drums. This link (http://c-six.de/GC2NYB1/GC2NYB1.ogg) will show you a short drum solo and i would like to know who ist the artist playing this "song". It is supposed to be the cutout of a very famous song/drum solo.

It would be great if one of you would be able to help me.

Thx a lot, FlyingDrumstick

This is your first post, and you put up a strange link with a strange file extension.

Smells like a virus.

I'm not clicking on that

With all given respect - you seem to have paranoid tendencies. If you don't want to visit the link, it's ok, no problem! But why do you have to trash talk this strange opinion?

I've seen ogg files. It's a legitimate extension, though I'm not sure how many media players recognize it. Mp3's or wav files are more likely to get listened to.

k, now with all of that said, has anyone listened to it? it is a VERY short clip and seems pretty stock to me... i have no clue who exactly it could be. whos the artist? whered you find it? good luck

Simple. If you're real, you come back and defend yourself!
If you're a spammer, you'd never come back.

(see, it worked).

Sorry, we get a lot of SPAM here. You can never be too sure.

The break in question sounds like Amen break, only played back at a slower speed.
It's taken from the song "Amen, Brother" recorded by the band the The Winstons, played by drummer G.C. Coleman.

You can hear the original on wikiepdia:
