My wife bought a 2,100 sq ft office for her business so the 24' X 24' room is all mine! NOW I can have people over to jam night and day, and I can practice as long and loud as I want to all day! She makes the big bucks, I concentrate on my two in-studio bands and can still have time to jam with myriad guest musicians here in Nashville TN 24/7! Woooo-Hoooo!
That's my 6th Century Scottish Family Coat Of Arms on the 26" head. I've got 2 more 20" crashes and 2 more 16" crashes and an 8" splash.
All Cymbals are a mix of older sweet Avedevis Zildgians and newer 90's Zildgians.... Probably just add my Gibraltar rack and make all THAT happen!
That Piccolo snare drum I hand built, using a 10 ply Kenner shell I found in an alley, sanded and refinished in Maple to match my kit, used a simple P-80 strainer, Pearl hoops, and the aluminum lugs I turned on a lathe a the aircraft hanger I used to work at (We build flying 1930's replicas for national air shows) What a full tonal CRACK this drum has!!!
