Show Off your SONOR DRUMS.

Very nice looking kit pcastag!....I was always a fan of the sonorlite scandinavian finish drums (noticed your interior finish)...almost bought a set back in the 80's..opted for the phonic plus's instead (mainly for the roadworthiness [wrap finish] and price)...anyways, nice looking kit..I'm sure it sounds great!

Another Sonormuseum convert! Welcome to drummerworld, pcastag.
Love the SQ2 birch.
Let's hope Scott gets the Museum up and running soon. I'm having withdrawals.

Schmidt,

You have your bass drum spurs backwards. If you reverse them your bass drum will stay pu a lot better.

Hey guys, Sorry i know this isn't the proper section but i want to get Sonor Owners to answer the question for me!

There are Force 3007's going for 649.95(like 655 CDN) thats w/o hardware, and there is a Sonor Special Edition going for $699(705 CDN?) with sonor 200 series hardware. I'm not a pro drummer or even semi-pro drummer by any means, i just play with my friends and we do occasional shows and are currently recording. I want to know it would be best to get the 3007's and buy a separate hardware pack or to get the special editions? Also to you 3007 owners, Is the 14" floor tom deep? because i prefer deeper floor toms but i like the sound of 8" rack toms( can't find a set with 16" floor and 8" rack :( )

Thanks!! And again i apologize to those of you who are pissed because i posted in the show off your drums thread!!

The 3007's are better shells, they are solid maple, I thinkt he special ediations are like a 1007 shell, cheaper wood. I don't have a 14 on mine, just a 10, 12, 16, but they sound great, for the price I would go with the3007 and buy a hardwae pack, great sounding kit that you can definitely gig with.

Ahh ok, makes sense, so it's probably a force 2007 then since it's 699 with a 200 series HW pack :p

I liked it better though because it had a silver sparkle(look rocking IMO) and it had a 2 up 2 down configuration!

Oh well i still have to sell my current kit first! Too much time to think :p

Thanks for your guys replies!

Seeing some pretty nice kits, I had to register myself and add to the pr0n collection C:
Sonor Force 3005 in red maple

My kit is almost complete, just missing an 18" and 14" Floor floor tom. Someone should hit me up if they have one
