Who likes Satin?!

Thanks alot! I'm planning to add more of those Gibraltar boom/puppybone combo's in the future. It seems to be working out very well for me so far, it's sturdy as hell, the hardware you have to carry to gigs is alot less, and so on and so on.

About the Optimounts, I'm still not satisfied with them. They take away too much resonance. I'm still searching for a nice alternative, but I can't seem to find any. I was planning to check out the Gauger RIMS, but I wonder if they could really improve the resonance. Do you perhaps have any ideas or suggestions?

I only use Gauger RIMS and I am very happy with them. They do cost more but they are worth it. My drums sing well on the Gaugers. I recommend them.

I have heard the Optimounts do well in terms of sound quality and you are the first I have heard about them taking away resonance. My main beef is they make no effort to complement the appearance of the drum set. They are strictly functional.
