This is why the 'list is awesome. Sometimes there are winners.

- Pulse 5pc for the base
- 8" and 10" Rockland(?) toms
- Evans G2 heads on the 12" and 13" toms and snare
- Remo Powersonic Clear kick head with snap-on muffle pad thingy
- Zidjian ZBT 14" hats, 16" rock crash, 16" China, 18" crash/ride, 20" ride
- Vex Pro Touring double pedal

I don't want to make any judgments on the thing because it's pretty worn (the guy I bought it from got it off eBay, so I'm like the 3rd owner). That said, I can't imagine what would be so much better with a higher-end pedal. It's smooth, sturdy, easy to adjust, even has these little notches at the top of the footboard so I don't slide up into the chain.

Really the only issue I have with it currently is that the springs are beat and there's some rust on the various screws and bolts.

Oh and to put some dollar signs on things...

Ludwig Acrolite 1976 snare: $150-ish?
Zidjian ZBT cymbal rock pack: $300
Evans 12/13/14 heads: $75 (I can't find JUST those three)
Remo Powersonic kick head: $35
Two Rockland toms: $100?
Vex double pedal: $120
Pulse 5-piece set: $400 (another guesstimate, I can't find what I've got)
SP boom cymbal stands: 2 for $60

TOTAL: $1240-ish not counting tax/shipping.
PAID: $475

Didn't count the various accessories, figured that's just unnecessary.

New hi-hat stand to fit next to my double bass pedal.
Aquarian Super II heads on the toms
Aquarian High Energy snare head
Aquarian Super Kick II bass head.

NOTE: the drums are kinda all over the place. I have to re-position them tomorrow.

Nice choice of heads brand after an awesome deal ;-)

Look good, you could even unwrap your tom and stain it as close as the kit and finish with some coat of lacquer.

Hm. that sounds like a lot of work, and I don't understand what it would entail, haha.
