Amidst the confusion and not-so-wonderful responses about the snare i found on musicgoround, i decided to go ahead and buy it. It turned out to be agreat decision. I was really surprised, cuz i woke up this morning and the fam was like "your drum came" and the guy said he would ship it yesterday, but i definitly didnt anticipate overnight shipping.
there is still a little bit of unnoticable pitting on the rims, but its relaly no problem. I steel wooled and shined up the rims and throw off (thats one HUGE! throw off) and that did a great deal.
Well enough with the story. heres the drum porn.
Pearl Free Floating Maple Snare 14x3.5 with an evans power center reverse dot as batter and the pearl stock reso.
p.s. sorry for the crappy pictures...i kinda took them with my mac, lol
