Let me say that your MCX kit looks stunning in Black Sparkle Fade.
You are absolutely right about the MCX and the Masters series in general.
Pearl has gone above and beyond in giving us a great series of drums for the price.
Everything from: high quality finishes, consistent shell manufacturing, attention to the fit of the hardware, killer tone.
You name it, these kits deliver in a big way.

WoW! Stunning kit there man! That is perhaps my favorite MCX finish..and a lacquer at that!!! AWESOME!

I don't have much to say rather than your kit looks beautiful. I can only dream of the day when I get to upgrade to a Master's or Reference!

I've owned Reference, too...and I'll say that without a doubt, I like the MCX series MUCH more. They sounded better, looked better, tuned up much easier and recorded wonderfully.

It's alive because I'm stalking the forums, trolling to find posting to do! I came across this kit and had to post.

And I may end up with the MCX, because I'm still shopping!!! Whether or not it's sold, its still a beat!!!
