Open, expressive, dynamic, musical, unique voice, & really lightweight. What more could a man (or woman) wish for ;)

Enjoy.

Wow, those are beautiful. I particularly love the lugs, legs & feet.

Oh, wow. That's great. I like the badge placement too, unorthodox but nicely symbolic. I'd better start the saving now (or at least get to work on that snare contest...).

Those kick spurs look a little wide, though ;)

Thanks :) We put a lot of effort into creating the shell hardware for these drums. All bespoke made in the UK from T6 aluminium, their low mass really allows the shells to sing. Costs a fortune to make & tool up, but worth it IMO.

Gorgeous Andy. Let me send you my proper mailing address.
I already have it Jon, & I'm still not sending you a kit ;)

With the exception of the snares, we keep the badges off the most resonant portion of the shell.

Spurs do look a touch wide on these photo's. I think it's that "fisheye" perspective thing again. They are a little wider than most, but that offers great stability. These are ultra lightweight drums, so need to be "planted".

Another home run Andy.Form meets function yet again. There's got to someone ...somewhere that owes me money...:)

Yes the East Coast get together. Just a reminder. I've never played on Sonors. So Sonors. I think I'm officially senile now. Wait, the voices are saying no.

Utterly stunning.

Why do I torture myself by looking at Gurus?

It makes me nervous seeing that lovely bass drum sitting on those rocks. Please don't let it get any scratches.

Havent been around much lately but so happy to have checked in today. Amazing stuff Andy- just stunning really in every aspect.

Whats on the bottom of the spurs to help hold the kick in place? Typical rubber/spike rig?

Can I ask what a kit like this might cost shipped to the US or is there a place online where pricing is available? THis is "the last kit you ever buy" kind of kit.

Hahaha, good one Larry. I see what you did there :)

Already saw these pictures on Facebook...
Damn, that set up looks lovely!!

I WANNA PLAY THAT KIT AGAIN!
Thanks David. You'll be playing it again, & two completely new kits too, on June 8th :)

Blackmail/extortion is always an option.
What have you got on me Duncan? Are you selling this info to Steve? As we're sharing a room June 7th, what debauchery are you planning to force upon me?

Utterly stunning.

It's not torture, it's lust ;) ;) ;)

Thanks Ian :) She may be pretty, but she can rumble & bite ;)

No scratches Jay, it's balanced between it's two spurs & bass pedal plate (our bass drums come with a special plate that clips on to the batter hoop).

Great to have you here again :)

Spurs are a rubber/spike rig, but nothing typical about them. All aluminium. Twist to expose rubber or spike. No need to lock them , as they have a resistance ring built into them.

I'm updating the website later today, c/w pricing information http://www.gurudrums.co.uk but have no problem with indicating prices here. A 3 piece set (bass, floor, tom) costs around $6,300USD (including Protection Racket AAA rigid cases). A 4 piece with snare (as pictured) around $7,700USD (again, c/w a full set of cases). Shipping by 3 day air to your door is around $400USD (depending on location in the USA & number of pieces). Snare plus case ships pretty much anywhere in the USA for around $90USD.

You ever see those Harley Magazines with hot chicks posing with hot bikes?

Those drums are hot! Now where are the sexy women? We need a calendar.
