Default 80's 5000 yammy kit

Here is an older kit I had forever. was tired of it so I took the faded wrap off, took the top layer with it (darn glue) and put about 8 coats of tung oil. Doesn't sound bad at all ( to me anyway!!!) Let me know what you guys think!!!

That looks very similar to the natural finish on my RC's. Job well done.

It does look like it. From far away though. Closer, the wood isn't that great and beat up . But the tung oil makes it shinny.
