what kind of hoops are on the acylic snare? doesnt look like diecast, looks like bell brass hoops BUT its not the same color as the tama BB hoops. prob just another version of diecast?

...those hoops are original Tama made in Japan "silver edition" Thea have original stamp on inside. Very rare hoops produced just in Japan.

6.5 x 14 Artwood Birch, reverse flange 2.3mm hoops comes with Evans hazy 300 and g1 coated, nice punch good attack and extremely versatile. This is a GC exclussive for 200 clams

need help I have a tama imperialstar 6/14 the snare head is a g1 evans and it sounds awful.

It could be an old head defective head bad tuning or a number of things. But this is not the proper section to post this question.

c1987 8x14" Artwood in Piano Black, one of my favorite wood snares!

Picked up one of these today on Kijiji from 1989 for $175. The guy was good enough to sell it to me since I was the first to call him but he was getting inundated with calls and offers from all over the province. Did I stumble onto something special. I'm sort of new to this classic drum thing.

I'll play!

Tama Starclassic 5.5x14 Birch in Blue Lacquer

Tama Imperialstar King Beat Chrome over Heavy Gauge Seamless steel 6.5x14

I have a few more snares to take pics of. I should be taking delivery of a new evilBay addition in a few days... I cannot wait! It's one I only became aware of because of THIS thread and I'm hoping it sounds like I hear it in my head.
