Hi Guys,

First time posting on the forums, but I've been an avid reader for several years now, always loving to see all the fantastic kits that others are kind enough to put up here, and I thought this thread would be the perfect place to post mine.

To hear what it sounds like - take a look at my YouTube channel:

Let me know what you guys think!

Tom :)

Here's my 1976 Rogers kit in faux koa finish. I'm using it as a four-piece although I do have an additional rack tom in the picture. It's a 14x22 bass drum, 8x12 tom, 16x16 floor tom, with a Ludwig 6.5x14 Supraphonic from 1978. I've been really enjoying playing this one as of late!

One more of the kit split for nesting.

That's a neat looking kit Rick. Do you notice any time savings in how long does it take to pack up and / or set up? Is the overall weight a contributing factor once it's all packed?

Been a while since I posted pics in this thread so I figured I would post my 3 Gretsch bop kits. All three are different, all three are identifiably Gretsch.

By the way, for anyone that may read this and care, I hear the New Classics are being discontinued. Only unofficial but seeing some of the steep discounts that some places are offering, I'm thinking there may be an element of truth to it.

I packs up in no more time than any other set. It has three butterfly latches on the mounted tom and 4 on the bass drum. Weight wise it is about the same as my 22" Legacy Classic when all nested. I use a Rockn Roller cart for moving my gear regardless of the size of the kit.
