Here's my beautiful newly completed Pearl Vision VBX all birch kit in natural gloss lacquer finish with mostly Pearl 900 series hardware. Toms - 8", 10", 12" 16" Pearl SensiTone steel snare 14"x5" all with Pearl ProTone 2-ply heads (for now). It sounds awesome... I just need to mute the bass drum a little. Cymbals a real mixture some great cutting crashes as well as som etrashy sounding (which I quite like). Tama Ergo-rider Throne HT741, as I prefer that to the Pearl one.

Pearl Reference kit in Copperfire Sparkle. I've been a Yamaha guy forever and love my RC's, but this is the nicest kit I've owned or played. The sound is unreal. The floor toms shake the walls. The fit and finish is outstanding. Pearl really got it right with these.

Here's an old set-up of my Pearl Masters Custom MMX kit. Unfortunately my Axis pedal and all of the cymbals/stands got stolen from a gig I played in September, but it's all been replaced except for the pedal as I've got a crappy old DW3000 series double pedal for now!
I'll get some pictures of the latest set-up soon!

This is my beauty and she's nothing special but she has been in my life for 3 years. :)
Pearl Forum Series with Evans G2 clear heads on the toms and a Remo beater head on the bass.
I have 3 toms but sometimes I'm too lazy to put all 3 up so these pics just show 2

Hi everyone this is my Pearl Maple prototype set. Dimensions are: 22x18, 12x9 and 16x16. All maple, kick, floor and snare - 8 ply, tom - 6 ply! The best thing is that only 2 kit exists, and I have one !!

Here is my new Pearl Export kit: 22/10/14/snare. The snare is a Pacific SX 14x5. I like that I can use only one cymbal stand with this kit. Peace and goodwill.

My Pearl Forum. I got some good heads on it, and it's tuned nicely so it actually sounds fairly decent. Hope to be upgrading soon anyway though.

Heres my baby, got a couple more cymbals to upgrade. Fancy an ozone, like the sound they produce. Also a nice 18" aax crash would be nice.

The snare is also a pearl, chad smith sig

Got some nice pearls in the thread.

My latest acquisition from a Craigslist trade recently. They are the Prestige Session Select series--maple/mahogany/maple--and they may be the best sounding drums I've had in a long time. I switch off from coated to clear Emperors for a variety of tunings but they shine with whatever heads I have on there at the time. The 22" bass just absolutely kills. Here I have stripped down to a very playable/moveable 4 piece, 22,12,14,14sd. I have a ton of bells and whistles here and I add them in the mix at times just to shake things up. Wine red #100 in the catalog. Love 'em...

^ That is one very nice drum set. I usually play a four-piece kit too. Peace and goodwill.
