Got a used Club Date SE

Well I'm glad my thousandth post helped someone! Makes it more special.

Like I mentioned, I'm not a fan of springs. I always throw them out. The washer you can use under the wing nut on the outside (probably where it was meant to be) but I don't think it's absolutely necessary.

Re: Got a used Club Date SE (cymbal holder installed)

Well, might as well update this thread with my cymbal holder installed. I had been debating whether or not I should put the cymbal holder on this kit and decided to take the plunge. I'm glad I did. I considered putting a Classic bracket but decided the Gibraltar round bracket would be sturdier since it's hinged so I went with that. Looks fine IMO.

The BD cymbal mount looks really nice. One less stand to tote around :)
I decided to ditch the rail mount on my CDSE kit.
I ordered a classic BD tom mount with a 9.5mm rod from a Rocker.
I will install it next week when it arrives.

Yep, one less stand to lug. I prefer that holder that you ordered too (I have the same one on my Rockers) but I'm gonna stick with the rail on this kit. It works well enough for me.
