Thanks a lot... I love 'em. And my digital cam really doesn't do the finish justice.

And yes, they do sound great. Nice tone and projection.

Just finishing up my Ludwig Rockers kit from 1989. Looking forward to posting some pic's real soon.

Thanks for all the great pic's... there great!

Since these pics were taken, I've added a 14x14 to the collection ... and I'm currently shopping for a 12x8. And I'll be converting/making a 18x12 "Jazzette" kick out of a spare 18x16 I have laying around. What's in the pics. are 26x16, 13x9, 16x16, and 18x16.

I've had these for over a year now and have them dialed in quite well. Wow, what a sound. They sound almost identical to the Houses of the Holy, Zoso drum kit. Big and powerful. They're tuned higher than you would think. The bottom heads are tuned up quite higher than batter heads (a third higher). They sound huge and round and literally shake the objects off of the shelves in the drum room.

Specs are Ludwig 1970, 3 ply with re-rings, clear maple interior, green sparkle 26x14 kick, 14x10 tom (mounted on rail consolette), 16x16, 16x18 floor toms. Coated emperors over coated ambassadors on toms, coated emperor over smooth white front head on kick. I also have a 6.5x14 supra to compliment the kit, but it's a newer one (2005). Hope you like the pic!

I like the pics but I like even more the kit!

Small question: how does the rail consolette work? Doesn't it show any problems with such a big tom? I asked myself that question even when I was looking at Bonzo's original kit.
