Those must be the thinnest sticks I've ever seen used outside of jazz & world music. Do you ever play live with them? I just can't imagine them delivering any punch live.

Meinl 5/16-inch x 15-inch Timbale Sticks.
I went from using large 3s drum sticks in corps marching to now playing with thin dowel rod like timbale drum sticks :)
I only do home studio recordings these days, so I would not know about live stage volumes etc.
