Looks pretty similar to my setup, even down to the Cobras lol. I've revised my setup a bit now.

Tried this at first:

16465_1086940672245_1788279001_171448_5726543_n.jpg

And then I ended up putting my ride over the 12":

I've got some new cymbals to replace all but the 16" crash either here or coming in soon, and I've tweaked the setup minorly here and there as well... Maybe once I get everything in I'll take some final shots and update once again lol

Yeah pretty much the same =O.

I had all 3 toms separated from the bass drum and much lower than what they are right now, until I got my Iron cobras and I had to tweak the setup a little cus' the linking tube of the IC's was not long enough to satisfy my comfort needs. The Ride, 18" Crash and Splash were all in one stand sitting on the bass drum's (It was pretty comfortable).

yayyyyyyyyyy

Here are my SQ2's just got the 10 and 14 the other day, the 14 was supposed to be a floor, but what the hey, I'm lucky I got them, the dealer went out of business and didn't pay for them, Sonor hooked me up! all medium birch scandi inside strata out, 10x10, 12x12, 15x14, 16x16, 20x20, brady 6.5x14 and 7x12 jarrah ply snares, paiste dimensions, sound formula and mark I ride. The new toms (10 and 14) are not quite as nice looking the strata print is sloppier and fatter but I'm just happy I got them. They sound phenomenal, my favorite sonors were always lites, these sound like my old scandi lites on roids!

That's OK, you definitely won't have to bother playing them! I guess I could've bought an s-classix in this finish since this ugly ass finish is offered as a standard finish but then again, I wouldn't have these stupid ass square sizes that all the signature and phonic pluses were made in. Geez what a jerk!

Hello pcastag,

I'm lovin' that strata finish!

Question for you: I noticed that the Sonor paddle logo is not centered on the bass like the rest of the drums. Was this Sonor's doing, or did you request it?

I realize that space must remain for a tom-holder if desired, but the badge is located near the drum's edge.

Regardless, that's a nice kit, and those square sizes remind me of the Link-era drums -- pure thunder!

That's where the logo was put in the factory , not by request, I think it's maybe so if you put the track mount tom holder it's still visible. The extra depth does make the toms pretty big sounding, but I think it's still fairly controlled with the birch shells.

Ahhh...good point. I was thinking about the mount that accompanies the S-Classix' and Delite's, but I forgot about the track mount.
