Let's see your POV/ Driver's seat pics

sweet! im confused by your bass pedals though? why a double beater on a double bass?

Use the single on the right foot since it's used most. Use the double as a single on the left, without the slave. When I need to play out somewhere with only a single kick but want the double chops,,,,just add the slave and waaaaaa laaaaaa. Cheaper than buying two singles and a double ;-)

Just outfitted the whole kit with new heads for a new project. Why not.

This is my Pearl MCX Chestnut-fade drum kit.

The snare is a Gretsch hammered brass 14 x 5.5, with Earthtone batter.
All other heads are Aquarian Modern Vintage batter and resonant heads, Except Front bass drum head being stock Pearl head. Bass drum Batter head Aquarian Modern Vintage with Evans E-mad felt taped to base drum.

10 x 7 tom, 12 x 10 tom, 13 x 11 tom, 16 x 16 floor tom, 22 x 18 bass drum.
Pedals are Pearl Direct Demon drive, Tama Iron cobra 2 legged lever drive, and also using an old Ghost bass drum pedal connected to an LP Fusheki Foot Shaker Bracket w/ Maraca.

All cymbals are Zildjian from different decades.

The Open Mic Night kit, because the snare got a nice new head:

10544411_10203026956928833_4891072474420736401_n.jpg

CB MX drums - 10" rack, 14" floor, 20" bass. Left the 12" rack at home because I couldn't be arsed to lug it.

Cymbals - Crappy Zildjian hats (ZXT+? I dunno. They're gone as soon as I get something worth playing), 18" Sabian AA Medium Crash, 20" AA Medium-Heavy Ride. Other cymbals consist of 10" AAX Splash,15" AAX Studio Crash, and 16" Wuhan china, but couldn't be arsed to bring the extra stands.

I'm actually quite impressed with these drums. Good heads and good tuning mean they sound pretty fracking nice. I need to replace the smaller tom heads - they're ancient ebony Pinstripes. I had a NOS red Evans Hydraulic in my stash and put that on the 14" tom, and it sounds very nice. Waiting on a EMAD2 for the bass. The previous owner added the maple bass hoops. I'm going to pull the disgusting burgundy wrap and refinish the shells with tung oil or something, because the wood is too pretty.

The best part is this 5-piece kit, complete with cymbals and hardware, came to me for...

wait for it!

...$200.
