i own a sonor s classix in those exact sizes and damn do they sing, also after recording in a pretty top notch studio the producer offered to buy the kit from me if i ever sold it because it was one...

hhhmm it may be worth it then. since at the moment i only have a steambent maple snare and i could do with a louder snare in soem gigs and maybe in the studio. would you think the chrome over steel...

i tried to order a 14x14 sonor s classix floor tom in walnut roots from percussion house in cardiff. they wanted 400 for the FT, 120 to actually order it and i'd have to wait 9 weeks. screw that......

well first of all s classix are made of birch and s class pro are maple so there is definatly a difference in tone.
