I own 7 Dyson vacuum cleaners and I have a maid service clean for me!

Re: Ludwig Club Date NOT discontinued

I am using this mount as of late. As you can see I modified the previous mount that I had installed even further by adding a clamp. This allows for many adjusting options. I used stainless steel...

dw combines fantastic marketing along with excellent products.
They function like a successful company should function.
I can't fault them for that. I own and like several of their products.

That is one sweet little piggy that you have there. :)

Re: Keeping stands/drums in the same position

Eventually you reach a point where you briefly position things and you say to yourself, "Yep, I can hit that!"
It will happen :)

Re: NDD: New Kit Day Tama Starclassic Performers B/B, No more buyers remorse

You now have, "Weapons of Mass Destruction!"
Use them wisely :)
By the way, the best way to set up tom brackets and hardware on your kit is anyway that you want to. If it works for you then it is...

Re: Poll: Buddy Rich

When I watch other great drummers play with the Buddy Rich Band, I love ther playing. I love there interpretations of the tunes that Buddy's band made famous.
But, and this is a big but for me. I...

Re: Some Pearl Vision Porn ;)

Bo, you have confirmed what I have long suspected; You are crazier that me!
I didn't think that it was possible, but you have proven it with this kit and this thread.
Actually my sick mind...

Re: Poll: Buddy Rich

You have to add up the total career achievements of Buddy.
Decade after decade of playing at a super high consistent level.
He commanded the stage. His quirks were part of his charm.
He never...

Re: Poll: Buddy Rich

No matter how you feel about his persona and ego, Buddy was the greatest drummer who ever lived. No one can take that away from him.

Re: Incredible "policy" from Memphis Drum Shop

When buying any item from outside of your country you should always call the seller.
You could have a trusted friend in the USA buy the drum and ship it to you.

Re: Only Weird Al Could Pull This Off-Love It

I think that Al should get an Oscar for his performance.
A few weeks ago Gary the piano player in my Jazz Quint...

Also, investing in a decent kit would be a good idea. :)

Re: Traditional grip for rock?

By the way, I am a lefty and I play my kit...

Re: Elementary jazz question about accenting on the ride

It depends entirely on the music that you are comping.
As a rule I don't do things like that. I let the cymbal sing and then hit the one with the BD. There are times when you are doing what is...

Re: Hoops?
