I did this a couple times, esp. when practicing double pedal. It was cool and beneficial for proper posture and also to find good balance on the 'throne' but I noticed that my core muscles got tired...

I have the same story as almost always... Started the Paradiddle-diddle workout yesterday but was pretty tired so I stopped half way. Continued today, got it up to 150 bpm right...

The oldest stuff in my drum gear would be some broken cymbals I got off Ebay and cut them down into bells or splashes. No idea of their exact age but some might date back to the 80's, not more.
