Drums vs. Cymbals

I dont think Ive seen any threads like this before. I was wondering which you guys prefer. I know they are both essential to the kit but are you more in love with your tubs or your pies?

Well alot of varying temperature may not necessarily affect the drums themselves, but they definitely will throw off the tuning. When the temperature varies like that it is very hard for the drums...

Look at used sets or maybe a brand new Gretsch Catalina Maple and with the extra 400 (usd) left in your budget buy some nice cymbals and hardware (used).

In a classic rock band with a talented guitarist, wailing lead singer, and decent bassist where i would be the drummer, and leader (picking the music etc.)
