Where to sell MONSTER set?

Yes, i know this board has no 'for sale' section and this is not some fishing thing, yet am moving and not sure where/how to sell my huge set. This is not an ordinary set per se (Tama signed Copeland...

Re: Your Favourite Band That is Not Well Known

Happy The Man, too bad the sound quality of the master tapes seems to be lacking.

Re: Keeping time isn't important!

In a sense this whole timing thing is why i enjoy listening to Stewart Copeland during his years with The Police, as his playing technique is different enough to mess with the heads of musicians too...

Re: In Ear headphones for drumming

Exactly! IEMs limit the 'noise' level and thus allow the musician to have a lower SPL/volume level output and clearly hear what is going on.

Remember gigs in the old days where everyone starts...

Re: So, what is it with Steve Gadd

If i may add: Touch, feel, subtle timing/tonal/texture/volume control.... Steve Gadd plays what is necessary and no more or less. Reminds me of the drumming equivalent of Miles Davis...

Re: Hearing Protection Tips?

Sorry and all, i'd debate the SOFT foam as i pointed out, The seal quite well when used corrected. They also tend to be far less irritating too, yet agree they are still not as good as custom fit...

Re: Theoretical Drum Materials

Probably very interesting yet as mentioned, also a bit fragile. On a kinda related note, Peter Gabriel uses ceramic piping in his larger/main studio's hallways/piano room/etc as he said the 'sound'...

Re: Paying to Play?

Ok, from a legal standpoint here are the problems:

You MUST have a signed contract. This contract MUST include payment (by $ or %) of the GROSS or NET payment from gigs (go for gross, if NET you...

Re: Theoretical Drum Materials

The Blue Man Group has per se. No heads, the 'mallets' hit the holes and thus sending air in such a way the initial strike makes the PVC tube's tone occur. Actually what they did is more akin to a...

Re: Theoretical Drum Materials

My first thought was carbon firbe yet am sure someone tried that. How about Aerogel or carbon aerogel? Remember when they tried 'pure' aerogel for loudspeaker drivers and it was not good sounding is...

Re: $9,000 snare

Not the type you may want to actually live with long term. For under $9k they make life-sized 'dolls' that are said to be very realistic visually and in certain textures, yet they do not talk or...
