Re: Tama Starclassic Performer B/B vs Yamaha Live Custom

Re: Yamaha Live Custom Oak - opinions?

After selling off my Oak Customs last November and picking up a set of DW Performance I am now back to the Oak's. I liked the DW but was not blown away. I missed the bass drum mounting and the...

Re: Back to Oak

I hear you Dre, maybe if you did a side by side comparison of a virgin kick and a drum with toms mounted on it and used some high end recording equipment you would hear a difference. However, I have...

Back to Oak

So I sold my Yamaha Oak Customs last November and picked up a DW Performance kit. Although I liked the DW, good quality nice sounding drums. I am not a fan of the tom mounting system. Just not for...

Re: Mapex Orion

The kick is 18x22, floor Tom 16x16, I prefer 16x14, rack is 12x10, I prefer 12x9 but if the price is right these are minor details.

Re: HELP: Which road do I take?

Is it possible for you to do both? I work with plenty of muscians who are multitasking. You may be surprised, talk to the original band members. Be up front with them, tell them you may take a...
