You find a five piece easier. 8, 10, 12, 14, 22 no snare for a grand if you check ebay etc. The you can pick a snare

Not to be a smart ass but if you think it may be a wrap, look for a seam. No seam, Lacquer or other spray.

Are the holes in the middle of the cymbal or more towards the bell? I drilled one bottom hat myself and put the holes closer to the bell than the middle.

Not bad at all. That blue tape does need to come off right way to keep paint from creeping under. but all in all looks cool and should be durable. and any left over can be sprayed on your sticks...
