yeah, try and get that new pedal. some consider it wrong to bury the beater, but alot of people do it, whatever works for you! it sounds like you need to loosen up your heel and make it do more of...

I think Copeland and Bruford are GREAT drummers, but i dont believe that they influenced drummers in the way that drummers like Barker and Grohl. if everyone young drummer was influenced by drummers...

yeah, I found the heel-toe easy, but i still have to push my toes up until the chain is in between my first two toes so my heel can get up far enough on the footboard

hmm, well perhaps its not your feet that are the problem, maybe its your hand feet coordination, I found that i could play different speeds consistantly, but my hands just were not in the right...
