Re: Tight screws for yamaha

As long as the SC lugs will permit / allow an additional 7mm of length inside the lug then I don't see that this would be a problem ....you could take one lug off, tighten the lug screw into where it...

Re: manufacture date on Yamaha RCs

Well it definitely won't be the 70's ...at least not if your kit is a "recording custom" by name... RC's weren't produced until the 80's...it could be precursor to the RC's, which would be the 9000...

Re: Yamaha BCA, date of manufacturing

Those are first gen. Absolutes, produced from mid/late 90's-2003/4... 2003/4 yamaha revamped the absolute series with more finishes, non-stained interiors, alum. die cast hoops, choice of lugs...

Re: Yamaha BCA, date of manufacturing

Yamaha didn't start manufacturing BCA's/MCA's until the mid 90's, so the date range code (80-89) you're referencing would not apply here...do you have a photo of the badge that you can display here?

Re: Why am I the only one with this kit?.. Yamaha Stage Custom

No those are stage custom full length lugs...SC's use to have full length lugs back in the 90's...they're not the same as RC's...:)

Re: Why am I the only one with this kit?.. Yamaha Stage Custom

Judging by the vent grommets (not original), kit probably has been re-finished... Still if you like it keep it...
