Learning jazz will help your overall playing but if you don't like jazz or you're not actually interested in playing jazz music then I wouldn't recommend it. Jazz can help you with some coordination...

The drum is 16". This was actually for a tv show, I did set up the stand in the hopes that a snare might miraculously appear but it did not :(

And yeah, the hats got quite a workout! jajaja

A couple of Elvin transcriptions (and a Brian Blade one why not?)

Here are some transcriptions I did during the winter, Resolution was a challenging one to say the least. I'm also finishing up a Billy Higgins solo, I'll upload it here when it's done.

Because a few already composed classical pieces were also used for the score, apparently the Academy felt the ratio of original material vs already existing material was not enough for the whole...

Using programs to slow down the music is fine. You don't have to transcribe a whole tune, start simple, it can be an 8 or 4 bar break, or maybe just two bars in which Max plays some really cool...
