I hear you on the rack-thing. I hate it too. Doesn't look pretty nor natural. The muffling I think is just personal perference (prhaps for some recordings muffling might do good). And the drum set up...

indeed this video makes it very clear that he uses his floor, in fact you even hear he uses very few bass-hits in the chorus...

My greatest weakness is my left foot, although I'm working on it.

I found out about the queens by the release of their third album and i immediately they blew me away, still, i got more and more in to it, from the minute i discouvered them they became my favorite...
