No disrespect TL but I'm not a big fan of his playing...I do however respect his level of mastery on the kit. I wouldn't mind some insight on independence or some of his practice routine tips

I took almost 7 years off.
It took me 6 months to feel like I was back. It wasn't until I did pep band that I felt I was getting better...so probably after year and half I felt I was better than...

In the 80's his ideas were fresh and creative and full of energy.

Contrary to what some have posted, Rush was not a mainstream band. They got very little radio play & did very few...
