Killer Lesson From Thomas Pridgen Courtesy Of Drumeo

http://youtu.be/8T-85IbmuxE

I enjoy these spotlights not only because you may pick up a few things, but also because the real personality of the drummer comes out.

Re: What Haven't You Played Yet but Really Want To?

I have yet to play a Ludwig Black Beauty-I had the Pork Pie poor man's version and it sounded good so I can only imagine how much I would like the real thing. As well I would like to check out the...

Re: What are your stories of when people found out you are drummer?

Re: Another Example Of How The Role Of A Drummer In Song Support Is Evolving

Re: Hit like a girl

Perhaps because there is stereotyping and this is a way to get the lassies a platform to get noticed so that eventually there will be no need for it anymore; it is unfortunately an imperfect world...

Re: Another Example Of How The Role Of A Drummer In Song Support Is Evolving

There have been threads discussing such things as less is more etc; I thought that this was a good example of not playing in a standard hi-hat, snare, bass drum fashion and how even keeping it simple...

Re: Less isn't always more?

This could be open to interpretation; perhaps streamlined is a better term; I received the Scott Amendola - Charlie Hunter disc "Not Getting Behind Is The New Getting Ahead" as a Christmas disc and...

Re: Maybe this is where the term "Kick" drum came from

I always said if you can dance you can play drums; not sure it works the other way around so much.

Here he is in Drum Crazy. Love the pastel colours on the bass drums.

Can't help but feel that Wynton has a very different outlook. It sounds more like a personal lament.

Re: What I'm Listening To, Bill Stewart entry.

I have seen her really get in to it at other concerts, she loves the drums.
