Hey they are putting 10 lugs on now, and they are putting DW heads on them as well. I bought a PDP mx last years and my snare has 8 lugs on it and the one thats at my local music shop has 10 and...

Bull. I would go with PDP MX series. Great hardware. I have had no problems out of it at all. That or the mapex m like you said. But have great hardware..

Well I had a teacher, but I felt like I could learn more on my own. I mean we spent like forever on the same two rudiments, but yeah i will definitely check that out. Thanks..
