Well, I have a Chad Smith Signature Snare, which is shallower than your's so when I crank the ambassadors moderately high, i get the crack and pop that I want.

Well, on my snare, the drumhead logo has to look at me, and the bottom head logo has to be aligned with the top head logo. However, the logo on the snare, (the part where it says pearl bllah blah)...

When I first heard Dani California, I was dissapointed, because my jaw didn't really drop like I wanted it to... However, it grew on me, and now I love it. I was watching this concert of theirs....
