That is a really sweet lookin kit! I love the way the color fades and thats a pretty big bass drum! The only thing(s) i would change is the pedal and your crash and hi-hat. But you can get those at a later time, but once again very nice, ; )!

I agree with TP, you need some new cymbals, other than the pearl ride, and maybe a new pedal. But that is as beautiful kit man!

Are you two saying that he doesnt need to get rid of that pearl ride? its fine for now but pearls aint known for their cymbals. If i was him i would replace the hats first, then ride, then start on the crashes.

But anyways nice kit. I have a Yamaha stage custom in marina green (not the fade). its a nice color

That is a beautiful kit and I know that it sounds sweet. I used to work at a music store (who was a Yamaha dealer) and I had a Stage Custom setup downstairs in the drum studio I taught in. They make some nice stuff.

Enjoy the drums!

Yes, I did. I have a Cheap Begginer set WJM 5 piece.
It wansn't that good, but as all beginner sets do they got you started on drumming.

Yes. It is a mix of Birch, Mahogany and Falkata woods.

hey people,

I was wondering what I should do to get rid of the overtones my kit is producing. I was thinking about getting evans ec2's. I have a muffle ring I want to cut down from a inch think to a half inch and put it on my 12" tom.

Need Help!!

Maybe try Evans coated G2's on batter and resonant glass on reso. Should produce a warm and focused sound. Some may suggest EC2's on batter. Nice kit. The finish is very nice. Enjoy.

First off NICE KIT, That fade definitally kicks {insert relevent explitive here} !!!
What kind of music do you play? That should help when deciding for new heads and cymbals. And i would get a new pedal before new cymbals, unless you have the money to buy it all at once (cymbals and pedal). Again nice kit.

Thanks man, I play mostly rock and some blues and funk and a little jazz.
A lot of types of music!
