Your Favorite Drum Intros

One of the most inspirational hard rock sounds, especially drumming, has got to be Thin Lizzy. I love this album (one of the first I heard) and, in particulary, this song:
Sugar Blues, off Chinatown (not strictly drums, but listen from 0:12 through 0:28 for some amazing drum riffs.)
Major shoutout to drummer Brian Downey - I agree he's "certainly one of the most underrated rock drummers."

Too many songs to recall but this always stands out and I frequently revisit it.

Some lovely playing and a good mix.

I’d guess the drum pattern is losely based on Soundgarden’s ‘Like Suicide’, but faster and with some Latin influenced fills thrown in for good measure.

I’d love to know what model of China Jimmy Chamberlin is using on this recording also

A little known tune with Terry Bozzio on drums
