Hey everyone,

Some of you may remember the problems I had with my Black Panther Blaster kit back in January, shortly after I bought it.

http://www.drummerworld.com/forums/showthread.php?t=86418

They did right by me and I got all of the damaged pieces replaced, but I was without them for about 4 months. They came back perfect.

Okay, it's killing me. What did Sticks do to get the thread deleted?

I'm not sure if it was anything specific, but he was basically dominating every thread on this board with, 'Mapex Saturn this and Mapex Saturn that,' and was getting to the point of berating folks who didn't like or purchase Mapex Saturn, as if there is no other drum kit for anyone.

There was one but the sticks debacle meant it got deleted eventually. So here's the new one.

Also - I recognise that BD head - did you sell your rockstar on the bay?

I just noticed this quote, and yes i did sell it on the bay. Much prefer the Saturn though, but the rockstar was fine while it lasted. No comparison in quality though, the Mapex beats it in every area, particularly ease of tuning.

Oh, well, that explains why I haven't seen his name pop up in months. That might also explain why there haven't been as many cyber brawls in this forum recently. I kinda miss following those. :D

I've always loved the Saturns though. The Orions were great, the Black Panthers are phenomenal, but I still prefer the Saturns over them.

And another!
Saturn, 24x18,13x9,18x16,14x7. I love it.
Happy New Year everyone.
Paul

Nice kit! That setup reminds me of someone, but I can't quite place it. ;)

Also, it's nice to see another Stealth rack user! I just got one myself, and it has completely changed how easily I can get my drums where I want them.

:)

LOL, I'm a big fan of the Stealth rack system. I've always loved the look of a tom in a snare basket with one up two down kits but as I play a little on the heavy handed side I always suffered a little tom crawl during long sets. Using the stealth sytem I got rid of my "tom crawl". No movement at all.
