Newest drum build complete!!

This is my new 6x14 stave padauk shell snare drum with black nickel plating and die cast hoops:
I went with a Trick single-step throw, 30 strand Canopus wires and Gretsch-style lugs
Heads of choice are an Aquarian Texture Coated Reverse Dot over Classic Clear Snare Side

Entirely hand-built my friend!
Sounds pretty good so far, have it tuned about medium with a little tape on top! Still a fresh head so it’s getting dialed in but in a few weeks when it’s broken in it should sound even better!

The more I play it, the more it sounds like an old Stop Sign Badge Gretsch!
think it’s the cast hoops doing their magic!
Just has that extremely woody sound to me and sounds awesome!
