18 inch Floor Tom Rebuild

Pearl Export Bass, Ludwig Rocker Tom, Taye Studio Maple snare. Floor tom yet to be adopted. Sort of a Brad and Angelina set.
 
The Bumble Bee Bop snare is finished. next the bass drum.

Looks good G. Just a simple masking job makes a nice clean stripe.

Thanks Guys. I haven't done a clear yet, but may still. I will see how the bass drum and tom turn out.
 
The snare sounds great. It is a Taye Studio Maple that I have had for some time.

Oh he's had them horizontal and every other possible way that you can think of. Your snare is sharp looking. Robert Sweet (Stryper) has some neat looking set ups over the years. He painted them himself. As of recently he has a custom yellow and black set from DDrum. They were the 1st to custom paint a set yellow and black for him, so he says.
 
Here are photos of the first coats of yellow going on the 18 inch bass. The outer layer of wood on the bass was so bad that I had to paint three coats of oil based enamel black on to fill the crappy grain. Buyer beware.
